In this zine, I am revisiting my first impressions and memories linked to different locations in Gateshead and Newcastle. After seven years of living here, my recollection of the first impressions is layered with memories and knowledge I have gained since. As a result, I have created a series of slightly abstract illustrations encompassing my feelings. The locations are my subjective choice of entry-level spots that people new to the region interact with.
